Drummer and former Beatle Ringo Starr’s childhood home was at 10 Admiral Grove, Dingle, Liverpool. Ringo (named for the rings he wore) was born Richard Starkey on 7 July 1940 at 9 Madryn Street, Dingle, Liverpool. He moved with his mother to 10 Admiral Grove in 1943 when his parents separated and lived there until 1963. It probably wasn’t painted pink at the time.
