Arnside Knott is a limestone/sandstone hill 522 feet (159 metres) high that offers grassland, meadow and woodland walks, with great views over the Kent estuary, Morecambe Bay and of the Cumbrian Mountains. It is famous for its wildlife, notably flowers, butterflies and birds. Nearby Jack Scout’s cliffs are good for bird watching and sun sets. There is some limited parking. It is easily accessed and signposted from Arnside and about a 20-30 minute walk from there.
